Empagio, Inc., a unit of HALO Technology Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: HALO), today announced the release of Empagio 6.0, the latest advancement of its industry-leading, web-based human resources, payroll and benefits administration platform. Empagio 6.0 offers enhanced employee self-service (ESS) and manager self-service (MSS) tools, as well as improved functionality to manage complex HR and payroll rules.
Early customers have embraced the new release. Three companies have conducted beta tests of the new release, and all have proven successful. In particular, the City of Lincoln, Nebraska conducted a beta test spanning three months and praised Empagio for the high quality of its technology, training and customer service. Lincoln initially wanted to upgrade the quality of its HR service delivery to employees and managers, but recent cuts had left little room in the budget for increased investment. In addition, Lincoln needed a solution that could handle the myriad of union and government agency rules that impacted its HR and payroll delivery.
Empagio 6.0 proved to be an ideal solution to meet Lincoln’s needs. Empagio’s ESS and MSS tools allowed the city to provide greater HR data access to its workforce – simultaneously improving service quality and decreasing the burden on its internal HR workforce. Not only was Empagio 6.0 powerful enough to handle the city’s most complex HR and payroll requirements, but it was also cost-effective enough to fit in Lincoln’s new budget. The beta was judged to be a resounding success for both parties.
Terry Lowe, Systems Coordinator for the City of Lincoln, gave high marks to Empagio and is eager to bring the new functionality into production. “I am very pleased with the results from the beta test of Empagio 6.0,” said Mr. Lowe. “The new functionality met all of our business goals and worked as promised.
