As June 30th marks the close of our fiscal year end, I would like to take a moment to provide you with an update on the company and what we see as our objectives and challenges in the coming year. I will start with a review of our long term strategy and some thoughts on how well we have or have not executed on it. Following that discussion, I will review the key tactical goals we set for ourselves in 2006 and our progress to date. And finally, I will set out our agenda for the upcoming year and discuss some lessons learned.
HALO seeks to generate significant returns for its shareholders. Our strategy is to build a portfolio of profitable software companies, and then help grow them at rates that exceed the rest of the market without sacrificing profitability. A key element of this strategy calls for us to reposition on-premises software companies into leaders in the on-demand software market.
